I figured the recent strong winds that hit my home outside
of Charlotte NC would have me looking for someone to repair my asphalt roof
shingles; or maybe do an entire roof replacement. . I set out to find someone
in the Ft Mill and Rock Hill SC area to fix my damaged roof. This is what I

If I need someone
to fix my damaged roof, I want a roofing company that does roof repair, too,
and not automatically push for a roof replacement. I also found out that not all roofing
contractors provide free roof estimates!
The Internet and Angie’s List
I found hundreds
of listings in the Charlotte area alone! So I dug further in, and logged onto
Angie’s List, to find a shorter listing of preferred roofing contractors.
There, I found Advanced Roofing and Exteriors, who include Ft Mill and Rock
Hill SC in their Charlotte service area. They offer free roof estimates!

I asked the
roofing experts at Advanced Roofing and Exteriors and they confirmed they could
repair my asphalt roof shingles and I did not need an entire roof replacement.
What a relief! While I was silently thanking my lucky stars they would fix my
damaged roof, they asked if I might want help with my insurance claims. I sure
got lucky when I found a roofing company that will repair my asphalt roof
shingles without trying to sell me an entire roof replacement, doesn’t charge
for roof estimates, and will help me with my roof insurance claims, for free!
Leaks and spots
on the ceiling let me know I needed someone to repair my asphalt roof shingles,
